First Year Connections - August 26, 2014

Welcome to NJIT!

One of your first experiences as a college student will be to participate in First Year Connections (FYC), a required, two-part summer orientation program for all incoming freshmen. Part one of FYC is a one-day program. International, out-of-state, and all remaining first-year students who did not attend in June or July must attend the FYC 1.0 program on August 26.

For Parents:

Parents are invited to attend Parent Connections, the parent orientation. Students must register parents as part of this registration if they wish to attend. Information on Parent Connections can be found here. While FYC is free, the cost of parent connections is $35 for one parent, $50 for two, and $25 for each additional guest. The cost includes breakfast, lunch, a newsletter, and a special parent NJIT mug. Confirmation and instructions on payment will be on the ticket and sent by email upon registration to your personal student email address. Note that if a parent is coming with you, they do not require a ticket - tickets are only a convenience to help check you in.
